Glass Aquarium Warranty

(3) Year Extended Warranty (STAND PURCHASED)

The aquarium is warranted by Great Lakes Aquariums Inc. not to leak or come apart at the silicone seams for a period of (3) years from date of purchase. The aquarium is not warranted against breakage, improper set-up or accident which causes breakage. Breakage caused by improper set-up (indicated by crack from the bottom or side panel) when set on a manufactured aquarium stand will be replaced one time as a courtesy. The warranty is void if the aquarium is chipped or shows any glass damage due to impact or abuse, or if the silicone seams are cut or altered. Leakage over or under the top trim and the plastic frames including the cross support brace are not warranted. Plastic frame repair is available. This warranty is limited to replacement of the aquarium and does not cover personal injury, property loss, or direct, incidental or consequential damage arising out of use of this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Consumer Leakage Information

Before returning the aquarium to us, make sure the aquarium is leaking from the seams and not from over or under the top trim or from air pump or filter. All aquariums will be water tested and there is a service charge for checking aquariums found not to leak from the seams. If the aquarium leaks from the seams within (3) years from date of purchase, provided the aquarium is not broken, or chipped from accidental impact or the silicone seams have been altered, we will replace it free of charge. You must return this warranty for a free replacement. BREAKAGE – Provided that the aquarium was set on a manufactured aquarium stand purchased with the aquarium, and breaks from accidental improper set up, not impact or abuse, we will replace the aquarium free of charge for (3) years from date of purchase. Since breakage is caused by improper set-up or accident, there is only one exchange. WARNING! - Breakage indicates a non-flat surface which must be eliminated to avoid another broken aquarium which will not be exchanged free of charge. There is no replacement for aquariums broken by impact or abuse (this is indicated by multiple cracks from one area of the glass).

Leakage over or under the top trim and the plastic frames including the cross support brace are not warranted. Plastic frame repair is available. This warranty is limited to repair of the aquarium and does not cover personal injury, property loss, or direct, incidental or consequential damage arising out of use of this product.
